Online Therapy for emotional distress, Anxiety, depression & trauma
Areas of Expertise
Living through difficult, overwhelming, or stressful life events changes how our nervous system processes emotion. When internal experiences become intensely distressing, it is entirely natural to develop patterns of coping—like emotional avoidance or constant hypervigilance—that accidentally keep us stuck.
My practice is built on a foundation of gold-standard trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I don’t just offer supportive conversation. I provide structured, evidence-based treatments designed to target the common core of emotional distress, anxiety, depression, and trauma responses.
Healing does not have to be an ambiguous, lifelong mystery. Together, we build the practical emotion regulation skills and psychological flexibility you need to face intense feelings safely, untangle from unhelpful thought loops, and confidently reclaim a life aligned with your deepest values.

Progress You Can See and Measure Because Healing Shouldn’t Take Forever
Therapy with me isn’t about endlessly talking through your past. It’s structured, goal-oriented, and grounded in the latest cognitive behavioral science. By utilizing highly effective, time-limited trauma protocols, we map out a roadmap tailored to your specific life history. We actively track your progress with validated assessment tools, transforming the healing process into something tangible, transparent, and measurable in real-time.
You might be wondering, “ok, but how do we actually measure emotional change?”
As a trauma expert with a foundational background in clinical research, I value data just as much as deep empathy. Tracking your progress ensures our work is actually moving the needle, helping you reclaim your life efficiently and effectively.
Comprehensive Initial Intake Evaluation
Your first session is a 75-minute appointment focused on understanding you—your unique history, current stressors, and exactly what you hope to reclaim through therapy.
Personalized recovery roadmap
Together, we design a targeted treatment approach tailored to your core values and personal goals, using proven methods for address trauma, anxiety, and depression.
objective Progress tracking
We utilize brief, validated tools to measure your symptom reduction over time, giving you clear visual proof of your growing resilience.
Ongoing Refinement
Your therapy plan adapts dynamically based on your feedback and real-time data, ensuring your care remains highly responsive and effective.
This disciplined approach helps us move with clarity and purpose. Therapy should help you get back to living your life, not keep you stuck in it. When you reach the milestones you've set, our work concludes—leaving you fully equipped with the psychological tools to thrive independently.

Your first session is a 75-minute appointment focused on understanding you—your experiences, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This thorough assessment helps us identify patterns, clarify goals, and begin shaping a personalized, evidence-based treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. It’s the foundation for meaningful, measurable progress and compassionate care that’s grounded in what works.

Yes. Therapy here is active, collaborative, and grounded in the treatments we know work best for trauma, anxiety, and depression. Most cognitive behavioral therapies are structured and time-limited, typically lasting 8-20 sessions. Therapy ends when you’ve met your goals—but some clients find it helpful to check in periodically for short booster sessions or may decide to continue working toward new goals beyond trauma recovery. Whether short-term or ongoing, you’ll have a clear plan, measurable progress, and expert guidance every step of the way.

While EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be helpful for some, I specialize in therapies that have the strongest scientific support for treating PTSD—specifically Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These gold-standard approaches are backed by decades of research and are recommended by leading organizations like the American Psychological Association (APA) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)/Department of Defense (DOD) for trauma recovery. My practice is grounded in delivering care that’s both effective and demonstrates measurable outcomes and lasting change. If you're curious about how PE or CPT might help you reclaim your life, I'm happy to walk you through what to expect.

Yes—when therapy is grounded in the treatments we know work, it can be life-changing. Evidence-based approaches like Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy are proven to reduce symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Trauma therapy helps you process what happened, shift unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with your values. With a clear plan and expert guidance, healing isn’t just possible—it’s measurable.

Getting started is simple. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you decide if working together feels like the right fit. If we move forward, you’ll receive access to my secure client portal where you can schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and manage your sessions with ease. Both in-person and online therapy options are available to support your comfort and convenience.

Like many psychologists, I’m an out-of-network provider and not contracted with insurance companies. This allows me to offer more flexible, individualized care and maintain a smaller caseload—so you receive focused attention and support.
Working outside of insurance also protects your privacy. I’m not required to share confidential information with insurers, and you won’t need a qualifying diagnosis that could become part of your permanent medical record. Insurance plans often limit the number of sessions or dictate who you can see. Choosing private pay gives you greater control over your care.
